11th Day

Thanks to my Jesus, this was a very nice day in which I did many things. First I did the attendance's sheets and put in on the board. Then, I continued doing database on the computer. The last thing I did was to help one of the consultants in the afterschool program. I really enjoyed this activity, God knows that I like to work with kids. The grade I and the consultant worked with was with the fifth grade. It was a challenge for me because is not easy to work with people that I don't know, but I felt confortable working with the consultant and this kids. I enjoyed this day.

10th Day

Thanks to Jesus, this day was nice. First of all I was doing the attendance sheets` organization, and than my mentor told me to take a copy for each attendance sheet that were filled out, but the copy machine doesn´t work well so my mentor, the secretary and my self were trying to fix it. The time passed fast and it was four o´clock, so I went with one of the consultants to the after school program but no students showed up, so we talk about what he do in this program with the kids and what it was about. It was a different program than the one I participated on the last friday. I enjoyed this work day...Hallelu yah

9th Day

God deserves all the glory and all the honor. I enjoyed this day of work in which I was continuing doing database. But before that, I was putting the attendance sheets of each consultant in order and put it on the little board located in the wall. I enjoyed this day because it was a simplest day. If instead of a simplest day it´ll be a hard day, I still enjoyed.

8th Day

Hallelu yah. This was a terrific day, in which I did something new. My mentor have talked with me about adjusting my schedule, so I can spend sometime with my mentor and other consultants interacting with the children during the group work that starts after four o´clock. I started it in this day and it was a nice experience for me. There were many challenges and one of them was: Went with my mentor to the program and introduce my self and share with children. It was a challenge for me because I have never work with children in the school. Thanks GOD, I already had some experience working with children in my church [a Pentecostal church]. I really enjoyed this day.

Seventh Day

Thanks God it was a nice day. I keep doing what I like. Now that I had work many days doing database, I could see the progress thanks Jesus. I could see it in the way that the work is getting done more quickly. I feel very confortable in this intern because is an experience that I know that will help me in the future. I enjoyed this workday.

Sixth Day

Halleluyah, this was a good day in which I spend my time doing database. For me is a plesure to do this kind of job because is nice for me. I enjoyed this day and I know that this internship is a big blessing from God to me.

5THDay

This day was terrific, thanks to the Living God. First of all, I was helping one of the girls who works in the program to decorate a poster for the recruitment of students in which I assisted during the parent teacher conference by manning a table to recruit students for our program. Then my mentor told me to pass the information for the students that signed to be in the program in a more ordered page, so the name and information of the student that is wanted can be easily found. I really enjoyed this work day.

4th day

Thanks to my God, this day was a simple day. I spent my time in the laptop passing information from the targets to the laptop. God knows that I like to work on the computers. One thing I experimented this day was that if something occurs on the computer, even though it seems simple, I should ask for help to my mentor. Today I was in the second floor in another office, because the principal office is in reparation and I know that it would be much better for all of us. My mentor shared me that more people is going to be included on this program and I know that it will be terrific. Thanks my God this day was very nice.

Thirdday02-19

Thanks to God, this day I assisted to a community meeting of the BMCI Network, which the company is a part of to get a well idea of what S.T.A.R.R. does. I introduced my self like everyone was doing, and I listened the different presentations of each agency or company and different thoughs. I faced two challenges this day and it was to present my self to a big group of people and to be careful of how I was suppose to act, because I know that I was representing the school and the company. This day was a nice day where I had a nice experience in my internship.

02-14-08

This day was a nice day thanks to the Lord, even though I was sick. One thing I learned about my self was that if I effort my self to do one thing, I can do it. For example I was not feeling well but I did not paid much attention to it and thanks God, I could do what was assigned for me to do. I started to use technology the second day. My mentor told me to put the contacts he have in the agenda on the computer.First he showed me how to do it on the computer and then he letted me do it by my self and it was a nice experience. All the day was spended on it and it was nice because typing is one of my skills. I learned something new about the company and it was that this company have a vision to expand, and the goal is to bring more programs to the community.Thanks to God it was a nice day working in what I like.

Thanks to God, I am very happy. The first day at the internship was so nice, my mentor Raul is a nice man and he introduced me to the people that works there, they are nice and they make me feel confortible.Then I went with my mentor to the class room to prepare everything for the after school program and it was a success, many kids joined this meeting. One thing I learned about my self was that no matter which challenges came through because if I believe in Jesus no matter what kind of challenge is, He will help me and by Him I can face the challenge. The thing I did in the class room was to be in the door making each kid that wanted to join the program, sign in and also to give out the sheets that were given.This first day was nice.

interview experience
First of all I want to thanks God for His help in this interviews. In the begining I was a little bit nervious, but after the first interview I felt more secure. One think that liked me the most was the food, because it was very good. Also I liked the way how the interviews were ordered. I liked how I was attended by the people that were there. I though it was going to be difficult in some way, because we the students arrived late because of the trains, but everything were under the hand of the Lord.
